From here, guests can easily walk into the everyday rhythm of Guohua Street, Youai Street, and the charming neighborhood life of central Tainan. The house offers flexible private stays for groups of 2–8 guests, making it ideal for friends, families, and group travelers. More than simply a place to stay, J Youai House invites guests to experience Tainan through its local lifestyle and slower pace of living. Each floor is designed around different moments of travel and rest: The first floor features a shared dining table and kitchen — perfect for coffee, hot pot dinners, takeout nights, or simply chatting after a day in the city. On the second floor, guests will find a quiet reading corner curated by Tainan independent bookstore “Book Congee,” creating a peaceful space to read and unwind during the journey. The third floor includes a projector lounge, bathtub, and outdoor terrace where guests can enjoy movies, take a relaxing bath, or spend a quiet evening to themselves. The fourth-floor terrace offers a front-row view of Tainan Art Museum Building 2, revealing different cityscapes from day to night. From soft daylight and sunset streets to the illuminated museum at night, J Youai House allows travelers not only to stay beside the museum, but to become part of its surrounding lifestyle. If you are traveling with children, feel free to contact us before your stay so we can provide suitable recommendations and information about the space. • Children aged 6 and above are charged as adults. Check-in & Check-out • Check-in: After 3:00 PM • Between 3:00 PM–6:00 PM, our staff will assist with check-in and introduce the space. • After 6:00 PM, self check-in instructions with photos, videos, and detailed guidance will be provided for greater travel flexibility. Guests may contact us anytime through official LINE during their stay. • Check-out: Before 11:00 AM Late check-out requests may be arranged in advance depending on availability and additional fees may apply. For consecutive stays, we prioritize maintaining guests’ privacy and original use of the space, so housekeeping is not automatically provided. Additional amenities or cleaning services can be arranged upon request. Parking information is available upon request before arrival. Additional guest or room arrangements can also be adjusted before check-in. Currently, pets are not yet accommodated. During Your Stay J Youai House does not provide fixed breakfast service. Instead, we encourage guests to explore Tainan’s breakfast shops, traditional markets, and hidden neighborhood cafés in their own way. Local food recommendations and neighborhood maps will also be shared before arrival. In support of Tainan’s environmental accommodation policy, disposable amenities and bottled water are not actively provided. The house includes hot/cold water dispensers, reusable bottles, cups, and a coffee machine for guests to use freely during their stay. Guests are also welcome to bring personal toiletries and enjoy a lighter, more sustainable travel experience. House Environment To preserve the comfortable neighborhood atmosphere of Tainan’s West Central District, quiet hours begin after 10:00 PM. Both indoor spaces and terraces are non-smoking areas. Cancellation and reservation policies follow Taiwan Consumer Protection regulations and the terms of the booking platform.
