Cishan (Qishan) Sanheyuan is a distinctive, old-fashioned sanheyuan (traditional three-section Chinese homestead with courtyard) situated in Kaohsiung City’s Cishan District at No. 6, Jhongsing (Zhongxing) St. in Guangfu Village. Cishan is located in central Kaohsiung County, an easy drive from the expressway along National Highway No. 1 and off at the Nanzih (Nanzi) Interchange, down Qinan Highway to Cishan. Alternatively, you can take National Highway No. 1 to National Highway No. 10, head east, then turn right at the end of the highway toward Ligang, then follow the signs to Cishan Sanheyuan. We offer a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and embrace nature and tranquility. The guesthouse itself is surrounded by flowers and fields, making for a wonderful sight, and visitors can also experience farm life as the owner teaches you to pick vegetables and fruit. It truly is a recreational experience for the whole family. You can even bring your pets (please call and let us know first)! As the sun sets, why not enjoy the sight as you stroll along the riverside, and later, how about a barbecue, some camping, or even karaoke, along with some of the affordable food prepared by the owner. We provide free breakfasts to guests, with Western (toast, coffee), Chinese (congee), and even vegetarian options (vegetarians please let us know ahead of time). Lunch and dinner are also available for an additional fee, and we offer a full menu of food and drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic). Tea will cost NT$500 (including tea set, tea leaves, and water), a simple tea set NT$150, and additional tea leaves NT$500 a packet. Our barbecue facilities are free to use, just provide your own food and charcoal. If you want the owner to prepare a barbecue for you, please book ahead — such barbecues are available for NT$1500-NT$2500 for 10 people.
