The owner of Ren Zji Village is a children’s art teacher with over 20 years’ experience, and has set up a plaza here to help teach children art and creativity. It’s also a perfect space for grown-ups to exercise their creative muscles as well! In 2003, as the government began promoting bed-and-breakfasts, as well as being motivated by a desire to make new friends, they got a license from the government and began operating their own bed-and-breakfast. Sitting on just over 1,650 square meters of land, Ren Zji Village is located near the spectacular Lake Zhongzheng and Mt. Renzi. The lush mountain greenery, Rubik’s-cube-like pagoda, and fragrant lotus lake create an atmosphere of serene beauty, particularly in the evenings, and the grounds are decorated with the artworks of the owners, one of whom specializes in watercolors, the other in a variety of art forms, including gourd carving, paper art, and dyework. Special features include: 1) Free personalized itineraries for guests, offering tours that are in-depth, artistic, and informative. 2) Maps of bicycle paths around the local scenic spots, a particularly recommended way to enjoy the beauty of the Meinong area. 3) DIY art sessions, which offer a chance to experience something a little different.
