TSC Hualien Hotel is located in Guangfu Township, Hualien County, was a sugar refinery of a private 【Ensuiko Sugar Refining Co., Ltd.】 in the Japanese colonial period. The buildings were constructed according to the "Building Standards of Official Residences" of Governor-General of Taiwan, and the current Japanese-style wooden dormitories were constructed in 1936 for staff quarters purpose. It remains 27 buildings, consisting of 73 rooms, and other quarters for single employees (now renovated as a Creative Studio), dorms for officials on business trip, clinic, offices, etc., a total of five wooden structure buildings. After renovation, the Japanese-style dormitories have been transformed into a hotel with historic characteristic style. The housing is divided into Japanese log cabins (room for two) and parent-child log cabins (room for four) and family log cabins(room for four)etc. Each room is a wooden structure building with the most primitive style. It features comfortable environment, soft colors and lighting, introverted calm design style, makes you still feel the beauty of Japanese culture, while escaping from the urban jungle to cast off tensions.
