Shangheyuan B&B in Kinmen was opened in July 2012. It's located in a quiet and clean village surrounded by trees, and has many European style architectures. The nearby attractions include Taihu Scenic Area, Ficus Park, Weilu Historic House, Chung Cheng Park (Zhong Zheng Park), 823 War Museum, Father Luo (Bernard M. Druetto) Memorial Park, Chen Ching-lan House, Yu Da-wei Memorial Hall, State Guest House and Haiyin Temple. Shuangheyuan overlooks Mt. Taiwu and the vast Taihu Lake, which covers 36 hectare. There are three islands - Tongxin, Guangfu, Huaxia - in the middle of the lake, and each has a pavilion. The name "Shangheyuan" implies "A great piece of land". The warm and friendly owner selects all the equipment and supplies used in the B&B as if he was the guest using the items. He chose the name "Shangheyuan" because he wished to provide a warm and comfortable space where visitors traveling to Kinmen can enjoy with their friends and family. The area surrounding the B&B is quiet and clean while the space inside is comfortable and spacious.
