INFOIntroduction

★Monet Garden—Don Gus Coffee Farm is the main agency for the renowned Balanjoyo Coffee. With top quality coffee beans imported directly from the volcano district in Guademala, Mr. Chang as the farm owner brews limited amount daily. Therefore, the entire farm manifests mysterious atmosphere integrating Latino romance and Mayan magic. The setting of Central American Tropical Forest is decorated with numerous artifacts from Mayan ruins. Even furniture is handmade by Mayan workers, while bed cover is made from the most famous Mayan textile. ★Such a unique style combining Latino romance and Mayan magic can only be represented via techniques of the impressionist school. Mr. Chang and his son who majored in architecture present natural simplicity with joint efforts so that aesthetic elegance is distributed via impressionist approach. Of course, a water lily pond is established here to elicit reminiscence of the famous painting by Claude Monet. Our farm is named as Monet Garden for this reason. ★The farm has rich natural ecosystems. Visitors inadvertently encounter a variety of lizards, stag beetles, and rhinoceros beetles here. Dragonflies, butterflies, Gunder brown frogs come back every spring and summer. In front of the Mayan Suite, there is a waterway, derived from the mountain creek, zigzagging into the water lily pond. Five generations of kois and Chinese sturgeons live in the water lily pond along with many other fishes from mountain creeks riding currents down here as passers-by. The geese couple, Pipi and Yaya, are the most welcome ambassadors of goodwill. They greet people with passion. Another pair of Japanese rooster and hen stroll leisurely to seek feed. With the advent of night, you can sit on the stairway of the Monet Chicken Farm to appreciate the scene with bird species flying on top of the trees to rest in sleep. ★Located to the north end of East Rift Valley, Carp Like has abundant picturesque natural ecosystems. From March to May every year, tourists flock here to view fireflies. ★A five-kilometer trip around the lake by bike or on foot is full of joy. So is sitting in the pagoda next to the lake with your heart and mind totally relaxed. Swinging on the lake by peddling a boat or shaking a canoe is fun as well.
