In 1915, the fourth year of the Taisho period in Japan, Cai Fen and Cai Jiang borrowed money from the treasury to purchase and build the Taiwowan residence. After the war, in 1946, the three brothers Ou Shanfa, Ou Shande, and Ou Haifa joined forces and hired Da Mu as chief engineer. My father built it as a traditional humanistic residence in Sanheyuan and hired master Pan Chunyuan to paint it himself.
